Sexual Health

There are many services that provide information, advice, assessment and treatment on sexual health issues for both men and women. Information on the many and not-for-profit organisations which provide services in this area with assistance from the State Government can be obtained from Health Info on 1300 135 030. Your family doctor can advise you on sexual health and services.

TREATMENT AND SUPPORT FOR HIV AND STDS

Your doctor or one of the treatment clinics can provide confidential diagnosis, treatment and counselling for people with HIV or Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES

These services provide confidential treatment, support and counselling for victims of sexual assault of abuse. Forensic testing is available if needed.
